I got a good bit of snow over the weekend.
The birds love the feeder even more now.
I needed to refill it for them.
Slipped on the ice and took a tumble while retrieving the feeder.
The birds really appreciate the full feeder though.
I am fine
Nothing hurt but my pride.
Y'all Stay Safe.
Finally got around to building a stand for my Ham radios.
I used mostly recycled wood.
Here is a short video review I did of the Restorer.
I am not being paid for this review, I paid for the machine.
I like it and think it works good for me.
Watch the video and decide for yourself.
Y'all be safe.
If you know me, you know I don't play the politics game.
Because of that, someone in the office did not like me.
Granted this was a temporary position but I think it is suspect that just when they were going to try doing 4x10 shifts that I get sent back to the waterfront.
Oh well, when they start getting requests for photos and help with workbooks they will realize they shot themselfs in the foot.
Anyway, that is part of what I did not say in the video.
and now, on to the show.
Y'all be safe.
With the price of lumber and all the other things, I am doing another temporary shed.
Area cleared and gravel for a base.

That end is destroyed.
I wound up digging a hole for one of the posts but managed to get it up and anchored.
I have the side walls on order.
They are supposed to be here today but probably too late for me to put them on today.
It will hopefully work until I can afford the lumber to build a better shed.
I have a 2x4 shed kit. The wood for a 7' x 8' shed will run me around $300.
that is just the wood. Hardware, roofing, paint will all be more.
Hence the 'tent'.
That's enough for now,
Y'all be safe.
I have been working on clearing a part of the back yard ever since I put the Packard in it's shed.
Here is what it looked like when I first started.
Same area photographed from a bit further back.
Still work to be done but progress has been made.
Y'all stay safe.
Did a video rant this morning and thought I would share it here too.
so here it is:

I am in the process of getting the in ground sprinkler system back in operation.
(At least the 2 legs that worked before. the other 2 legs are beyond help.)
The liquid portion is fixed now I just need to finish the electrical.
I still need to run the wire.
The old wire I had temporarily hooked up is too short for the conduit.
I will have to add some more from the spool.
(I have to find what I did with it.)
Once that is done, I can let the controller inside the house run them.
I can run the sprinklers late at night when it will do the most good.
Y'all be safe.
It has been some time since I posted on here.
Mostly, I have been on Twitch and Facebook with some video posts to Youtube.
Today, I purchased a new (to me) car.
a 2006 Toyota Prius.
I decided that since the Altima was only getting 23 MPG and was starting to need some work that is was time to upgrade.
But don't fret, the Altima went to a good home.
My ex-mechanic friend of mine needed a vehicle that gets better than 6 MPG.
And he has no problem doing the repairs that I just did not want to tackle.
So he got the Altima (it had basically no trade-in value) and I got a Prius.
Here are some pics of it:
Drove it 83 miles home and on the freeway (mostly) it got an average of 54 MPG. Far better than the Altima.
People may make fun of the Prius but they are good cars.
And 54 MPG is not too shabby.
Oh and I got it for under $10K.
Y'all stay safe.
I have not been posting on the blog because I have been spending my time live streaming Skyrim and working.
The past 2 weekend's I have been working on my bedroom.
Ripping out the old, nasty carpet and putting down vinyl flooring.
Here are pic's of the bedroom from start to finish.
The Starting Point.
Posting from mobile.
Have not posted in a while. Had the 'Rona, long hours at work and started live streaming on Twitch.
Been busy.

Went out today and started splitting wood.
First, I had to rearrange the wood pile so all the seasoned wood was on one side.
Seasoned wood on the right. First wheelbarrow of new wood on left.
Then it was off to the races.
Ready to start splitting
It is a foggy morning for this
This wood looked good from the outside. Not so good once split.
Almost full.
Had to stop here to set up a new wood pile.
As full as I care to pile it. That was only 6 wheelbarrows full.
After setting up a new wood pile, I worked till I decided enough for the day.
New wood pile is coming along nicely
Got most of it done.
What is left are the biggest pieces though.
That is for another day.
Y'all Stay safe.
