Here is a question for all the gun guys and gals out there:  How is it that these three rounds, .22 short, and two different brand of .22 subsonic all sound nearly as loud as a .22 standard velocity round when fired from the same Henry .22 pump rifle?
I thought the .22 shorts would be significantly quieter but I could not notice any noise reduction at all.  So far, the only good 'quiet' plinking rounds I have found are powderless.  And they are hard to find.
I want to be able to plink tin cans in the back yard without upsetting the neighbors.
