Weather cleared up so I decided to work on the Earthmaster driveline.

First bolt out.  Notice how a previous owner 'repaired' the drive shaft.  It works even if it does look ugly.

Drive shaft uncoupled.

U joint is out.

Now I can get to the parking brake to fix it.  It is frozen to the shaft.  It is supposed to move independently.  I broke the dog off the lower part trying to free it.  Going to cut it off and fabricate a new one that is not cast.

6 hours later, I finally got the u joint apart.  One cap was so rusted up that it shattered during removal.  Now I just have to go get a new u joint center.  The yokes are cleaned up and deburred, ready for reassembly.
