I got the final section of the seat in the gluing clamps. I also got the center planed smooth. I test fit the center and front pieces and joint planed them by hand. (Wanted to see if I could do it 'old school' and make it fit.) I only have a small amount of room in the shop so just gluing one piece at a time.
I have to say, the more I work with this Alder the more I like it. It has such a nice fine grain and is a joy to work with.
