I found my old knee brace and surprisingly it still fits.
Now I am able to hobble around fairly well.
Decided that since I needed to stand for a bit so my leg would not stiffen up to bad I decided that I would hobble out to the shop and work on the Alder stool.
I drilled the leg holes, fit the legs, leveled them as best as I could and then wedged and glued them in.
I will need to fine tune the level with a sander when the glue sets and cut the tops of the tenon's off flush with the seat.
Then time to trim the ends and finish it.

Wedged and all glued up. Now to let it dry. |
It's not perfect but I think it look fairly good for a first time build.
Still learning the different tricks to doing something like this.
