Winter blues.

With winter here (it got cold) there is not much outside doings around here.

 

In the shop I am low on supplies and short on ideas so have not been working on any projects lately.

I have been working on building a benchtop power supply for my electronics work station in the house.

 

Going slow as I am taking my time to do it properly. (I don't want any fires.)

 
It will be a big help to experimenting with electronics.

I will post a pic of it when it is done. 

I have not been posting much as there just really hasn't been anything of note going on.

Winter is always a slow time for me.

I go to work, come back home, play on the comp for a while and go to bed.

Get up in the morning and do it all again.

No snow here.  That would be something to write about.

One thing that surprised me about the Pacific Northwest was how little snow this place gets.

We might get one or two measurable snow falls in a year and they usually don't stick around for long.

What we get is 4 to 5 months of Cold rain with a month or two of really cold weather.

I think I am growing webbed feet!

I am sick of rain but that is what keeps this area so green all the time so I guess it is a good thing.
