I went out and worked on the Earthmaster tractor today.
As I thought, the problem with it was a bad ignition switch.
Replaced the switch and used the scraper on the driveway to smooth it out some.
The scraper is homemade. It needs to have sides added to make it a true box scraper.
I don't think the Ferguson is going to be as easy to fix.
I think it has a wet distributer.
Will see when I get into it.
