Chainsaw milling

Used my chainsaw mill for the first time today.

Only worked one log but think I got the hang of it.

Here are some pics.

Saw with the mill setup.

Top cut done.

2 inch plank from the center of the log.

I didn't get pics of it but I cut a 1 inch plank from the remainder of the log after this cut.

Wood is stacked and stickered for drying now.

It was a small log so I only got 4 planks out of it.

They still should make some good lumber.

And since I already had the logs all it cost was gas and time.
