I have been trying to use my wood stove to save on the light bill as my furnace is all electric.
The one problem I have always had with the wood stove is how to get the heat spread through out the house.
My furnace does not have an independent fan setting.
So I could either do major surgery on my functioning furnace with the risk of breaking it.
(If it ain't broke, Don't fix it!)
Or come up with a redneck solution.
That is the air inlet to the furnace with the box fan mounted over it.
The furnace will still be able to pull air through if needed.
It is not real strong but it does move the air through the ducts.
You can see how close to the stove the the furnace is.
Redneck wins again!
