Furnace repair.

The internet is a wonderful thing.

I searched for the furnace blower motor I need and found a brand new, OEM part with 1 day shipping for less than my insurance deductible.

Even with the cost of the hub puller to remove the old one it is still less than my deductible.

I doubt the repair service will be cheaper as they have to charge for labor.

Repair is easy.  Simple mechanic work.  Easier than working on a tractor (which I do).

I think I will just do it myself and save some $$.

And I can give the furnace a good cleaning while I am at it.

Haven't ordered the part yet as I want to confer with the roommate (Steven) because he will most likely be my helper on this job (May need extra hands/eyes).

I did order the tool because it will be useful for other jobs.

Still have to heat with wood for a few days but at least I have an idea of the cost and a time frame now.
