Got the scooter out today for the first time since November. I ran it in the shed for a bit in January but had not gotten it out on the road. It had a bit of an issue at first till it got all the old gas out of the carb then it seemed to run good.
My knee on the other hand was very unhappy about my riding. As I have to use my left leg to help steady and guide the bike when stopped and at slow speed my knee did not like how I was making it work. Because of that, I did not ride very much, just up and down my road a couple of times.
I decided to check on the small walk behind tractor. When I got it, the motor was seized. That was last fall. I had filled the cylinder with WD-40 and let it sit all winter. Had to put a pipe wrench on the pull starter pulley at first but it now turns free. Has no compression so I believe at least one of the valves are stuck. Not getting into it any further right now as there is no way I can lift the motor and carry it up to the shop. But at least I know it turns over.
I will be glad when my knee is fully healed and I can get back to doing the things I want to do. It is getting better but it is frustrating because we finally have some nice weather and my knee wont let me do the things I want to do.
