Cat mess in carpet.

Roommate pointed out how bad my room was smelling.

I have a loss of smell so I could not tell how bad it was.

His comment got me off my butt and got me to start ripping out the carpet.

I have been intending to do it but was procrastinating.

The cats in the mean time had been being naughty.

Here is a pic of where the worst of it was.

Spots on floor are being treated with Natures Miracle pet odor remover.

Gonna take a bit to fully dry and deodorize but should seriously improve conditions.

That'll teach me to be lazy.
Going to keep working on removing the rest of the carpet in sections.
Then, install laminate flooring like I did in the rest of the house.
This is literally the last carpet in the house.
It takes longer to get all the staples and tack strips out than it does to remove the carpet and pad.
