Day was going too good.

I should have known today was going too good.

I was watching a movie when I heard a loud thud outside.

It has been raining hard and the wind was blowing a bit.

I went outside to see what the noise was and discovered a tree had fallen.

On My Truck!

This is what I found.

Yep, the windshield is cracked.

I have no idea if the door will open.

I filed a claim but wont hear anything till monday.

As this is my only transportation in winter it means I have to miss work till the insurance company says I can remove the tree.

I have no idea how long it will take to repair or if it can be repaired.

The dead tree in the back yard is still standing and a live one decided to fall instead.

What a way to start the new year.

Yay me.
