I decided to make a larger wooden planter from cedar fencing.
Got started today.
First I decided how tall I wanted it.
Boards cut to length. |
Then I cut the angles on the staves.
I can't get perfect cuts free hand on the bandsaw but that is ok for a planter.
Cutting the angles. |
Next I had to put them all together to find out the size of the bottom.
(I guess I could figure it out mathmaticly but who wants to do math?)
Standing bottom up. Don't know why half of the pic is blurry. |
Now for the bottom.
I don't have a piece of cedar big enough for the bottom so I am glueing 2 boards together.
Boards for the bottom in glue up. |
Now to wait a day for the glue to dry.
Y'all stay safe.
