The weather this year is just as crazy as everything else.
Around Christmas, we expect cold, and (because this is Washington state) wet.
This year though,
First it rains fit to wash everything away and is so warm that the snow in the mountains is melting like it is spring,
Then the rain stops, and it snaps cold and freezes everything. Not a hard freeze, just enough to make the roads, sidewalks and porches treacherous.
I give up on trying to figure the weather out. Just when you think you know what it will do, it does the exact opposite.
