I cut the legs for the alder stool and turned the tenon's on them. Dry alder turns real good at slower speeds. It also turns down real fast so you have to be careful not to turn it down too far. Stop and measure often is what I did.

Even though the legs are not all identical it will just add character to the stool. (I hope) Next up, figure out the angle I want the legs at and drill the holes.
