Wood lathe arrived.

So my wood lathe finally arrived today.  I got it set up and gave it a try on a scrap piece of the alder.

Box looks right this time.

Yep, that is a lathe!

Tried it out on a piece of scrap Alder.  Seems to work good.

The size of the lathe is going to limit the size of the legs on the stool so it will be a bit shorter than I wanted but I will work with it.  They make a bed extension for this lathe but I am going to wait a bit before seeing about ordering it.

Update:  So I found out that this model does not have an extension table so 13" is the max length I can turn on it.
