I took the hood off of the Ferguson, attached the governor assist spring and installed a hold back board for the battery. Reinstalled the hood and started it up. It seems to run better now that the governor is working properly and I don't have to worry about the battery sliding over and shorting out on the hood anymore.
I tell y'all what, after 3 weeks in 50-90 deg weather 40 feels darn cold!
Like to froze my hands when I took the tarp off the tractor.
Waited till it warmed up to 50 before I worked on it.
I got to get used to the colder weather again.
