So I have shamefully neglected this blog for the past couple of weeks.
Here is an update on some of the things that have been going on.
Last weekend I participated in Ham Radio Field Day.
I helped set up and tear down the Kitsap County Amateur Radio Club field day site.
Worked all week. (Duh)
This weekend I did some weed-eating at the end of the driveway so we can see oncoming traffic before we pull out of the drive.
I don't have the shoulder strap set up on the good weed-eater yet and man is that thing heavy.
Here are some pics of the driveway after I got done.
My right arm had the shakes for an hour after I got done with that.
I have got to get the shoulder strap set up on the weed-eater.
After I had recovered I made a bracelet that a co-workers son had ordered.
I also got the Rossi RS-22 semi-auto sighted in.
My new rifle, a Rossi RS-22 Semi-auto. |
22 revolver,
22 bolt action rifle,
22 pump rifle,
22 semi-auto rifle.
Not planning on getting a 22 semi-auto pistol as I don't much care for them.
But I might just to have a complete set.
I would rather get a single action army in 38 cal or 45 cal.
Today I did some work on the walk behind project.
I got the brace for the blade welded up.
And yes, I know the welds look like doo-doo.
It was dead calm when I pulled out the welder and as soon as I started welding the wind started blowing and kept blowing my gas away. (mig welding shielding gas)
Welds may look like crap but I think they will hold. |
Walk behind is now one step closer to operational.
Now I plan on taking it easy for the rest of the day and enjoying the weekend and the nice weather.
