Had the whole weekend off but was busy none the less.
First, I had to pick up a Graco preasure washer that I won in an estate auction.
I won it with a crazy low bid.
It has no spark and the air cleaner is missing but since it is a modern engine the parts were both readily available and cheap on Amazon.
I should get them tomorrow.
Then I finished building the fuel line on the NPR6 engine for the walk behind tractor.
Not tested yet as my gas cans are empty.
Where I left off last time. |
Coupling added. |
Compression fitting added. |
Fitting up the fuel line for bending and cutting |
Fuel line complete |
Next since the last of my angel fish had died I decided to rebuild my fish tank.
I added an under gravel filter pickup and a new center piece as well as giving it a good cleaning.
I don't thing the Picasimus was very happy about the work but he just hid in the corner I wasn't working on.
Ready for new fish. |
That was Saturday.
Today, I went back to the pet store and got some new fish.
Was gonna change the lighting and get Glow fish but they want $9 a fish for them so decided on some molly's instead.
I had to go for larger fish otherwise the Picasumus would eat them.
I got 3 Black Molly's, 2 Dalmatian Molly's, and 2 red Gouramis.
Here is a video of the new fish in the tank.
Then I installed a pass-through for my radio cables to get them out of the window.
I can use my window again now.
Inside. Still needs some finish work. |
Outside. Rubber boot is to keep bugs and drafts out. |
I have decided that I am not going to mow my yard for a while.
One, the mower is stuck behind the bike that is in parts.
and two, I like the way the yard looks now.
It is pretty, and the bees like it too.
The picture does not do it justice.
In person, all you see is a carpet of yellow flowers.
After all, it's not a freaking golf course or a park, it's my yard.
I like the flowers.
It has character.
I bet the deer like it too.
Now it's time to relax.
